Service Update: TouchStar ATC and COVID-19

24 March 2020
At TouchStar ATC, the health, wellbeing
and safety of both our customers and employees is our top priority.
Following the recent measures taken by our government to reduce
the spread of coronavirus, TouchStar ATC have now taken additional action to
reduce the impact to our operations and in supporting our customers.
What is the impact on our service levels?
At this time, we are continuing to provide essential services.
From Tuesday 24th March, our offices have closed,
please be re-assured that our support desk will remain active via email. Other
personnel at TouchStar ATC will be moving to telephone appointments and
communicating via digital services.
TouchStar ATC are also doing everything possible to support
their customers within the key working sectors as defined by the government: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision
TouchStar ATC are still able to support all essential
onsite requirements within these defined sectors. If one of our customers does
have an urgent reason to contact us which requires a site visit by one of our
team, TouchStar ATC will need to ask more questions than usual when taking your
enquiry.
To prevent the risk of further contamination, we will ask if you:
·
Have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19)
·
Are currently self-isolating
·
Are showing symptoms of coronavirus, such as a new, continuous
cough, high temperature, or shortness of breath.
Please be sure that the self-isolation
measures are being fully adhered to by all personnel within TouchStar ATC. Any
member of the team will remain at home if they are showing any signs of the
illness and will only attend site if they answer no to the questions above.
Our aim here is to prioritise safe working and we
appreciate your support in order to ensure these services can be undertaken
safely.
As a business who takes its responsibility seriously, and
regarding this issue, we will continue to monitor and implement the guidance
provided by the Government.
